CALAMINE LOTION - TOPICAL
(CAL-uh-mine)
USES: This medication is used to help relieve itching, pain and discomfort due to poison ivy, poison oak and poiosn sumac.
HOW TO USE: Wash and completely dry the affceted area before applying the lotion.
Shake lotion well before use. Apply this medication to the affected area of skin, generally three to four times daily or as directed by your physician. Leran proper use of this medication. Consult your pharmacist. This mediicne is for external use only.
Notify your doctor if your condition does not improve in 7 days.
SIDE EFFECTS: Very unlikely but reoprt promptly: rash, irritation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical hisotry and of any allergies you might have. Avoid getting this mediicne in your eyes or on the inside of your nose, mouth or genital area.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially: otehr skin products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emeregncy room immediately.
NOTES: Do not sahre this medication with others.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remmeber.
If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedlue. Do not double the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
Do not freeze.
